Everyone is welcome to join in volunteer gift-wrapping for the Clay County Giving Tree on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 5 pm at the Clay County Fairgrounds. For more information, contact Judy Barnes at 402-762-3670.
They have recently remodeled their center and expanded their services to offer ultrasound to young women! They also provide free pregnancy tests, counseling, classes, and referrals to community services.
Clay County Food Pantry
They have been serving the people of Clay County for over 30 years and helps an average of 7-10 families per month. They supply a 3-5 day supply of food for each family. They also are partnering with DHHS to give out fans to families in need.
Clay County Giving Tree
They have been fulfilling Christmas wishes for families in need throughout Clay County since 1985. It's giving kids precious, happy memories. It's amazing to know that they've put smiles on the faces of thousands of kids.
Sandy Creek Backpack Program
The Clay County Food Pantry has been partnering with Sandy Creek schools to provide a bag of food to help children who need extra food on the weekends. They're in their 4th year and served just under 90 kids last year. They send home fruit cups, granola bars, pop tarts, mac & cheese, popcorn -- anything that can be fixed with little help from an adult.
